September 2021 - Farmers Markets and full-on schedules

September has been an incredibly busy month for us as we have continued to play at weddings and local events, and have also been performing with Sussex Steel Community Band, of which we are both members. After a long delay due to COVID restrictions, we are finally getting to play at the wedding of Laura and Michael, winners of the NHS and Carers wedding competition, which we are greatly looking forward to. Song-wise we are starting to review our Christmas set, ahead of the (hopefully) busy festive season - we have already had several enquiries, so things are looking promising! We are also making plans for next year, applying to festivals and researching opportunities to share our music beyond the local community. We are anticipating a fairly quiet October in terms of performances, but that will give us plenty of opportunity to ensure we are well rehearsed for Christmas and to make more exciting plans as we head into our fourth year as a duo - we can't wait!
